The Dust Bowl Festival was started in 1990 as an idea for a “family reunion” of sorts only bigger. We wanted to create something that would show the generations what it was like during the “Great Dust Bowl” and Depression era for migrants of the time. The Dust Bowl Festival grew into something much larger than ever expected and the interest in it was almost overwhelming for our small group putting it all together.
Over the years we have had visitors not only attend our festival but visit throughout the year. Those visitors have come from around the world and range from all ages and backgrounds. There are no words to say thank you enough over the years for all the interest you’ve shown in our festival and cause.
This will be our last year for the event. The Dust Bowl Festival Committee would like to say thank you for all of your support over the last 30 years.
